There is a registration and assessment fee of $35 per semester. This fee is totally refundable when a student completes 60 semester hours of classes. All coursework and class materials are provided FREE to our students!
These six week classes or tutoring are designed to help you increase your employment skills so you can better compete in the job market. Classes include Work Place Soft Skills, Job Search Skills, Life Skills, Communication, and Bible Study. Computer Basics are offered in the afternoon.
Schedule
9:30 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Thursday.

In a rural county with no literacy council, CWJC of Rusk County offers women the choice of on-going tutoring or small classes in preparation for high school equivalency GED or HiSET tests.

AZTEC:
AZTEC on-line HSE/GED preparation software is available for students to use on-line in our computer lab or at your home. This is available in English or in Spanish.
Individual tutoring is also available by appointment.
ABE
Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes and tutoring: for students who need to improve reading, writing, and basic math skills.

Basic computer classes are taught in six or seven- week blocks- fall/winter semester & spring semester.

Fall Schedule
ESL (English as a Second Language)
ESL classes are targeted to the needs of Non-English speaking individuals.
Classes are taught Monday- Thursday, 9:30 am- 12:00 noon. Multiple classes are offered each morning.
Citizenship classes are offered on Monday mornings, 9:30-12:00 noon
