Classes and Enrollment

These classes prepare women with life skills and job readiness skills. Classes are taught in eight-week blocks, fall and spring, 9:00am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Thursday. Lunch is served daily at no cost.Classes include:

In a rural county with no literacy council, CWJC of Rusk County offers women on-going tutoring in the areas of literacy and high school equivalency.
Language Arts:
Monday and Wednesday Mornings 9:00-12:00
Math:
Tuesdays and Thursday Mornings 9:00-12.00 noon
Computer Basics
Basic computer classes are taught in six or seven- week blocks- fall semester & spring semester. These classes are held from 1:00-2:30 Monday-Thursday.

ESL classes are targeted to the needs of Non-English speaking individuals. ABE classes are more advanced, dealing with reading, writing, as well as speaking. Fall and Spring classes are taught Monday- Thursday, 9:00 am- 12:00 noon, in blocks of 9-10 weeks. Multiple classes are offered each morning.
