We are looking for committed students. A $35 registration and assessment fee is required each semester and is fully refundable upon completion of 60 semester hours.
All coursework and class materials are provided free of charge.
In a rural county with no literacy council, CWJC of Rusk County offers women the choice of on-going tutoring or small classes in preparation for high school equivalency GED or HiSET tests.
Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes and tutoring: for students who need to improve reading, writing, and basic math skills.
Basic computer classes are taught in six or seven- week blocks- fall/winter semester & spring semester.
AZTEC on-line HSE/GED preparation software is available for students to use on-line in our computer lab or at your home. This is available in English or in Spanish.
Individual tutoring available by appointment
ESL classes are targeted to the needs of Non-English speaking individuals.
Monday- Thursday, 9:30 am- 12:00 noon. Multiple classes are offered each morning.
Citizenship classes Monday mornings, 9:30-12:00 noon
Tutoring for job readiness is available on request. Our computer lab is open daily to update your resume or job search. If you are interested in computer classes, please check with our office.
